Activities

As I truly believe that Art must be enjoyed by everyone, my laboratories are designed for people of all ages, from children to adults. Different activities, courses and seminars are provided, depending on objectives, skills and abilities of the interested audience. My approach is ludic and narrative, and it’s suitable for all; accordingly, my educational method is basically the same, while the number and the quality of the details vary. In this context, receiving information will become simpler, and learning will be more effective.
I’ll briefly define some of my activities below. Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Landscape:
To investigate the world all around, so as to identify and to determine settings and locations. To see usual landscapes with new eyes, stirring the desire of discovery. To analyse landscapes through the lens of the History of Art and, at the same time, framing, color, shape and practice are cognitive tools.
Still Life:
A research on shape, meaning and position of everyday objects, their connection with space and with other objects, the surface they occupy, the imprint they produce, the symbols they represent. We can disclose mysterious Universes and natural connections through the choice of materials, the selection of categories of objects, the position on the surface, the perspective. When stillness has many stories to tell.
Portrait:
The Human Representation seen thanks to images of all the times. The evolution of a concept, the analysis of a pose, the introspection, the meaning of the background used, the icons, the facial expressions, the abstract developments. To look at ourselves through a mirror; to reveal, know and recognise ourselves; to learn how to depict ourselves and the others. When the inner self dialogues with the world outside.
Comic Strip:
The luck, the story and the code of an underrated genre with a huge cultural and artistic effect, starting from the study of an artist who became famous thanks to the creation of a printed cartoon. To learn the basics of writing a comic strip; to involve many disciplines. When the synthesis of complexity is understood even by children.
Color:
Universes to explore starting from the past, chemical elements compared with digital systems, pigments and pixels helping us find new shades. The color as an emotion, as a message, as a physical body, as a preferential channel to inspect shape, to reveal magic, and to communicate sensations. To understand the value, the practice and the role of colors in society.
